Darren Hanks Creative Photography

Photography has been a passion in my family for generations, beginning with my grandfather in the 1930s. He not only captured stunning images but also built much of his own equipment, including an enlarger crafted from an old camera lens, pieces of string, and bits of wood—ingeniously assembled, as he would say! He later became a professional photographer. My father and older brother are both avid photographers, and my uncle was a wedding photographer. Growing up, I was surrounded by a love for photography.

Hi! I am Darren Hanks

For much of my life, photography remained a hobby. Even now, when I’m not working on a project, I dedicate as much of my spare time as possible to capturing the perfect shot. While I take my photography seriously and strive for outstanding results, I pride myself on fostering a friendly, relaxed atmosphere in my work. This approach not only puts clients at ease but also helps me understand their vision, ensuring I deliver exactly what they’re looking for.
